Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection at various production stages like, Incoming Inspection, Material Identification, Set up and welding inspection, In-process Inspection, Final Inspection, Hydrostatic Inspection, Pneumatic Inspection, Shot Blasting inspection, Painting Inspection, Final Assembly, Packing & Dispatch.
• Carry out Visual Inspection on welds for welding defects such as porosity, undercut, spatters etc.
• Perform & Evaluate NDT at production stages & review RT films.
• Prepare and approve and implement Inspection Test Plan, quality procedure and quality manual, for the machine/fabrication shop.
• Prepare Final QC dossier for handing over to the client and maintain proper filing system with full traceability for retrieving the document.
• Inspect materials, equipment, processes, and products and determine corrective actions.
• Work with managers and supervisors to implement quality measures.
• Track quality assurance metrics.
• Test systems and procedures to ensure they meet technical standards.
• Create quality and safety documentation.
• Identify technical issues and get to the root of the problem.
• Quality Control of Reefer Units and PUB.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• Years of Experience: 5 - 10 Years
• Field of Experience : Experience in industries that manufacture Transport Solution products, such as Reefer Boxes, Cargo Bodies Panel Van Insulations, Tipper Bodies, Trailers, Low Beds, Flat Beds, Fuel/Water/Vacuum/Sewage Tankers, Transport Refrigerated Boxes, Polyurethane Insulated Panel

Skills

• Excellent computer skills, SAP Software
• Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters
• Excellent drawing interpretation skill
