Job Overview

We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Bakery Assistant to join our growing team at Gluten Free Collective. This role is perfect for someone who loves baking, is eager to learn about gluten-free products, and wants to be part of a mission-driven company making a positive impact on people's lives.

This position is urgently vacant and needs to be filled as soon as possible. Priority will be given to candidates with good English-speaking skills and a strong willingness to learn.

Working in a gluten-free bakery is unique and different from conventional baking, so having an open mindset to learn is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and baking of various gluten-free products, with a focus on our signature bread line
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
• Help package and prepare orders for delivery
• Assist in inventory management and restocking of ingredients
• Support the team in various tasks related to our subscription service and product line
• Work different shifts depending on business needs. Work shift schedule is 9 hours per day (one hour break) with one fixed day off.

Qualifications

• Passion for baking and interest in gluten-free cooking
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Previous bakery or food service experience is a plus, but not required
• Knowledge of or personal experience with gluten-free diets is beneficial
• Strong spoken English and willingness to learn are essential.
• Must have a valid Health Card

Your Compensation & Benefits

• Basic Salary, 170 - 180 KWD + Housing KWD 40 + Transportation KWD 30
• Annual air tickets (every 24 months, to the capital of the country of your origin)

• Annual bonus based on individual performance and company growth, subject to management approval
• Possibility of 2 additional working hours daily, subject to pre-approval and paid as per labor law
