Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Azure landing zones aligned with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework
• Lead and execute data center migration strategies to Azure
• Architect hub-and-spoke network topologies using Azure Virtual Network, VPN Gateway, and ExpressRoute
• Configure and manage Azure Firewall, Network Security Groups (NSGs), and Azure Application Gateway
• Support hybrid cloud scenarios using Azure Arc for servers
• Enable public and private access scenarios using Private Endpoints, Service Endpoints, and Azure DNS
• Modernize applications leveraging PaaS services like Azure App Services and Azure Functions
• Design and deploy scalable and secure SQL solutions (Azure SQL Database, SQL Managed Instance)
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure best practices are followed
• Provide technical leadership and guidance during project delivery and customer engagements

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of experience in IT with on-premises technology, including 2+ years in Microsoft Azure architecture and design
• Proven experience in data center migrations to Azure
• Deep knowledge of Azure networking concepts (VNet, VPN, ExpressRoute, DNS, NSG, UDR, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, and WAF
• Expertise in Azure Landing Zone design and implementation
• Strong experience with Azure Arc for hybrid workloads
• Familiarity with public/private endpoints and service access control
• Proficiency in Azure SQL services and migration techniques
• Strong understanding of cloud security and governance best practices
• Microsoft Azure certifications (must have AZ-305, AZ-104, AZ-700; value-added AZ-500, SC-300)
• VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, Active Directory, and Windows Operating Systems
• Experience with Azure Governance and Best Practices (Azure Blueprints, Role-Based Access Control, Networking Architectures, Cost Management controls, etc.)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Terraform)
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, ARM
• Kubernetes, Docker, Azure Stack
