Job Description:

Position: Receptionist (Student Experience Facilitator) Reporting to: Regional Development Manager

Hours of work: 11 am – 8 pm, Sunday to Thursday

Start Date: 29th June 2025

Overview:

The Student Experience Facilitator is a key front-of-house representative and a crucial part of the student journey at our college. Acting as the first point of contact for students and visitors, this role combines exceptional customer service with smooth administrative support and a light sales touch. The Facilitator ensures that everyone entering the school receives a warm welcome, accurate information, and personalized support, contributing to both a memorable student experience and the overall growth of the college.

Duties :

1.Student Experience

Supporting the implementation of the BSC groupwide strategy in relation to student experience to ensure that our customers are at the forefront of everything that we do at BSC, specifically:

1- Acting as the first point of contact and advisor for all students and visitors to the College, ensuring they are all dealt with courteously and professionally, providing the necessary advice and assistance, and effectively dealing with any requests and feedback.

2- Continuously evaluates and identifies opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the student experience including support of the Student Ambassador Program

3- Supporting the new student 'first day experience' in line with Great Things Start Here

Initiatives

4- Dealing with all escalated student welfare queries and problems quickly, discreetly and efficiently and to the satisfaction of all concerned

5- Supporting the social and activity program as required

6- Ensuring the college fulfills its duty of care to students

7- Ensuring the appropriate organizing of all 'extras' including social programs/workshops when required

Customer Service & Sales Support

•Actively promoting available courses, products, and services to walk-in enquiries and current students in a friendly, informative manner.

•Identifying student needs and recommending appropriate products, add-ons, or services to enhance their learning experience (e.g., private lessons, exam preparation, or social events).

•Supporting the conversion of leads by offering exceptional first impressions, following up on enquiries, and encouraging enrollment.

•Liaising with the sales and admissions teams to ensure prospective students receive timely and accurate information.

•Maintaining knowledge of ongoing promotions and assisting in communicating them to students and visitors

Administration & Financial Support

-Supporting the effective day-to-day management of the college's administration

processes.

-Providing general administrative and record-keeping support for the College as requested by the College Manager

-Assisting with the collection of monies owed by the student as informed by Finance following company policy and procedure

-Maintaining an up-to-date and accurate knowledge of college rules and policies and relevant welfare issues to ensure colleagues and students are given correct information at all times

-Supporting the efficient administration of course bookings and student records

-Completing any other related duties as assigned by School or BSC central and support teams

About you:

-You are a Native Arabic speaker or fluent.

-You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

-Occasional availability in the evenings (until 8 pm or 9 pm when required)

-Transferable Visa

Skills required:

-Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programmers.

-Excellent communication and consultative sales skills.

-Fast worker, who works well under pressure.

-Strong in customer service and admin skills.

-Self-motivated, punctual, and highly organized
