Responsibilities

• Supervise manufacturing process of 'Transport Refrigerated Boxes, Polyurethane Insulated Panel manufacturing, Cargo bodies, Van insulations, selection & fixing of cooling units on Transport Refrigerated bodies, Tipper Bodies, Trailers, Tanks & Tankers, Fuel Tanks, pressure vessels, and variety of steel structures and ensure quality work is done in a safe and efficient manner.
• Liaise with other Engineers/concerned employees to develop plans that improve production, costs, and manpower required.
• Diagnose problem in production line and provide recommendations and training.
• Work with designers, production foremen, Quality Control department to develop plans for manufacturing products.
• Choose the right materials for a job under production by considering factors such as strength, durability, cost and availability.
• Oversee the production process to ensure all products meet quality and safety standards

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering

Experience

• Years of Experience: 5 - 10 Years
• Field of Experience : Manufacturing process of Transport Refrigerated Boxes, Polyurethane Insulated Panel manufacturing, Cargo bodies, Van insulations, selection & fixing of cooling units on Transport Refrigerated bodies, Tipper Bodies, Trailers, Tanks & Tankers, Fuel Tanks, pressure vessels, and variety of steel structures

Skills

• Excellent leadership, problem solving, teamwork, team development, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage and drive process and product improvements with suppliers
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and standards and convert into manufacturing control plan
• Familiarity with construction practices and basic measuring tools
• Strong knowledge of quality management and manufacturing principles
• High level of integrity with strong emphasis on making and meeting commitments
• High sense of urgency with the ability to delegate and prioritize to meet required deadlines
• Computer software skills such as Autocad, SAP
