Duties and Essential Job Functions
Management:
- Provide a focus and a sense of direction to the e-com employees and management.
- Ensure enforcement and adaptation of corporate values and vision.
- Establish and carry out the e-com's goals, policies, and procedures.
- Manage general activities related to providing the organizational services.
- Consult with other executives, staff, and team members about general operations and administrative activities.
- Direct and manage the e-com's financial and budgetary activities.
- Analyze financial statements, reports, and other performance indicators and provide the necessary feedback and recommendations.
- Identify areas of raising efficiency and effectiveness and to improve performance, policies, and programs.
- Monitor control and approve capital and non-capital expenditures and audit effectiveness.
- Endeavor to develop and succeed in maintaining appropriate company image that strives towards excellence in satisfying customers.
- Develop quantified M.B.O. plans for the direct subordinates and ensure that the process propagates through all levels.
- To maintain viable and healthy relations with strategic accounts, business partners, official entities, financial institutions, and government bodies.
Technical:
- Developing and implementing e-commerce strategies aligned with company goals.
- Managing and optimizing online sales channels, such as websites, social media, and online marketplaces.
- Creating and managing e-commerce budgets, including advertising and promotion spending.
- Analyzing e-commerce data and metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, sales, SCM, brands, and product development, to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
- Staying up to date with trends and innovations in e-commerce and making recommendations for improvement.
- Manage product listings, descriptions, and pricing in the online store.
- Ensure regular updates to product information, images, and descriptions to ensure accuracy, appeal, and consistency.
- Plan and execute seasonal and promotional campaigns to increase sales and boost customer engagement.
- Analyze customer behavior and trends to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Monitor website functionality and handle troubleshooting issues with the e-commerce platform, including technical problems and user experience challenges.
- Coordinate with logistics and fulfilment teams to ensure timely and accurate order processing and delivery.
- Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure seamless customer services, high customer satisfaction, and resolve issues quickly through the online store.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and platforms.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in e-commerce and digital marketing.
A. Education
- College or University Graduate (preferable higher level of education MBA, etc....) in the fields of Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
B. Professional Experience
- From five (5) to eight (8) years' experience gained through increasingly responsible management positions within similar positions in related fields within the e-com field.
- A minimum of five (5) years' experience as an E-Com executive within the online retail market
C. Competencies Required
- Proficiency in MS Office packages; feasibility studies preparation; business planning, data research, analytics, and interpretation; Web Design and Development, Database Management, Marketing and Advertising, Social Media Management, SEO, and SEM
- Knowledge of financial statements and reports.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution.
- Knowledge of accounting, budget formulation and control
- Leadership and personal effectiveness
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
- Physically and mentally fit for the job
D. Required Licenses/Certifications
- Technical Training Certificates / licenses
- Google Analytics/SEO
- Knowledge of SEO and PPC (Pay-Per-Click) campaigns
E. Languages
- Proficient in English language (read, write, speak)
- Proficient in Arabic language (read, write, speak)
